Sprint Announces Samsung Intercept

Sprint officially announced the Samsung Intercept today via a press release, and you can pick it up at a nice, affordable price! Great news for Sprint Android fans. You will be able to pick up the new, affordable Android device for a cool $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, and don�t forget to sign that 2 year contract. Once you do that, you�ll be on your way! Available through all Sprint outlets beginning July 11th.

If you are an Android fan, you were eagerly awaiting the announcement today out of NYC � I know I was. Well, the time has come! I was given the opportunity by Verizon Wireless to try out the KIN One & KIN Two devices recently, and I wanted to do a quick write up on my thoughts of these two Microsoft devices. Touted as social networking smartphones, Microsoft has managed to pull off just that�.a smartphone for the social networking butterfly.

I will start right off saying that this device will be suited with the younger set, I don�t think we�ll see too many professionals toting around these devices, they are mainly marketed to younger teens, possibly

Originally thought to be named Droid Xtreme, now signs are pointing to it just being called the Droid X. However, is this just for the benefit of the Verizon Wireless inventory systems, or is this what it will be called? Time will tell.

After playing around with a stable build of Froyo on my DROID for a little less than a day, I must say that it is going to be a welcome update for all users running Android 2.1 software. It is mostly full of visual tweaks to the core apps (MMS, Talk, Gmail, Camera), but there are a couple of new things floating around. In addition, this is the FASTEST Android build I have ever used. There are a couple of technical details that allow for this speed improvement, but this is not the thread to discuss them. So, I present to you some screenshots I took this morning that highlight a lot of the changes that users will see in Froyo.
