Thanks again Verizon Wireless for allowing me to review this product.

First off, I want to say that I was pretty excited to give this one a try, as I own a Motorola DROID (1) and also the HTC Droid Incredible, so I am familiar with Android devices, and was looking forward to comparing the D1 to the D2. Right out of the gate it looks a little bit different. The coloring of the device is a a bit silver on the front, and http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/213-device-review-motrola-droid-2.html http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/213-device-review-motrola-droid-2.html Wed, 11 Aug 2010 16:37:00 -0600 How to tether your BlackBerry using Desktop Manager 6 (even on AT&T) 1. Touted as social networking smartphones, Microsoft has managed to pull off just that….a smartphone for the social networking butterfly.

I will start right off saying that this device will be suited with the younger set, I don’t think we’ll see too many professionals toting around these devices, they are mainly marketed to younger teens, possibly http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/206-device-review-microsoft-kin-one-kin-two.html http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/206-device-review-microsoft-kin-one-kin-two.html Sat, 12 Jun 2010 12:13:00 -0600 So what SHOULD we call it? Droid X or Droid Xtreme? Originally thought to be named Droid Xtreme, now signs are pointing to it just being called the Droid X. However, is this just for the benefit of the Verizon Wireless inventory systems, or is this what it will be called? Time will tell.

Here’s the shot that Phandroid got of the Droid X in the inventory systems:

<a href="http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/attachments/7362-droid-x.jpg.html?quot;= title="">Attachment 7362

Either way, http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/205-so-what-should-we-call-droid-x-droid-xtreme.html http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/205-so-what-should-we-call-droid-x-droid-xtreme.html Sat, 12 Jun 2010 10:57:00 -0600 Droid Xtreme shows its face The folks over at Gadget University got a sneak peek at the new Motorola Droid Xtreme, set to release on Verizon Wireless sometime in July. Let’s get straight to the pictures, because that’s really all we’re here for:

<a href="http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/attachments/7360-droid-xtreme1.jpg.html?quot;= title="">Attachment 7360

I love the way this looks. The look on this is similar to the Motorola Droid, but there are some differences, of course. Here are some of the specs on this, as reported http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/204-droid-xtreme-shows-its-face.html http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/204-droid-xtreme-shows-its-face.html Fri, 11 Jun 2010 09:42:00 -0600 A Tour of Android 2.2 (Froyo) After playing around with a stable build of Froyo on my DROID for a little less than a day, I must say that it is going to be a welcome update for all users running Android 2.1 software. It is mostly full of visual tweaks to the core apps (MMS, Talk, Gmail, Camera), but there are a couple of new things floating around. In addition, this is the FASTEST Android build I have ever used. There are a couple of technical details that allow for this speed improvement, but this is not the thread to discuss them. So, I present to you some screenshots I took this morning that highlight a lot of the changes that users will see in Froyo.

<a href="http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/attachments/7346-snap0.jpg.html?quot;= http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/203-tour-android-2-2-froyo.html http://www.smartphoneaddicted.com/blackberryforums/content/203-tour-android-2-2-froyo.html
